We are constantly evolving and the way we express and communicate with the world is. As visionaries, authors and transformative agents, understanding the core from where all comes from and honoring that is the most important, when we understand the heart beat and we focus on that, we stop becoming distracted by the “business rules” that can be detracting from our growth, mission and service, this way our Organizations and visions can grow with us and we can grow together.
I remember seeing an interview of a musician I love! I have always loved his voice and his service to the world and the many ways in which he has reinvented himself, He is famous and a celebrity and during an interview He mentioned He honor himself in his growth and reinvention and He let go of the need to please his audience or disappoint them by not staying with one style or the other, He has always being consistent on thanking God for his music even though he is not a Christian singer, and signs a variety of songs, he stands for his ground, knows were his gift comes from and let’s it flow through him in an honorable way.
I hope that this example can help you ask yourself: am I honoring my gifts? am I honoring my message? Is my message in alignment with my growth? Where are the roots of my gift sustained from?
